Alon Borten
Alon Borten (he/they/she) is a queer Jewish filmmaker originally from Queens, New York, now based in Los Angeles. Drawing from their experiences within queer communities, their work explores identity, performance, and belonging through an intimate, character-driven lens.
After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 2015, Alon transitioned into filmmaking. Their debut short film A Prayer (2017) premiered at Outfest and screened at NewFest and the Moscow Jewish Film Festival. Their follow-up short, This Is For You (2023), has garnered over 5 million views on YouTube.
Alongside their creative work, Alon works as a content producer and is developing a slate of film and television projects, including their next short Sissies. -

Joelle Joyner-Wong is a writer and director. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre Studies from Sonoma State University. Joelle’s writing credits include "Cheers!" for Sonoma State Powerlines New Works Festival and Project 24 with Worst Ever Productions, "Post Grad Life" for PlayGround-SF Free-Play Festival and Rogue Theater Festival digital program, "Fem-Ship" for Meraki Theatre Scratch Off!, and "Blacklist!" for Fresh Baked Pears New Works Festival. Joelle’s directing credits include Associate Director for Hollywood Fringe "Saturday's at 10 am", "Love No Evil" for Think and Imagine Play Festival, and "The Strand That Beads You" for Conundrum New Works Festival. Joelle is also an alum of BAYCAT Studio, a nonprofit film production studio in San Francisco that helps emerging filmmakers break into the industry.

In a recent four year stretch, his clients landed 15 screenplays on The Black List, Hollywood’s annual roundup of its most celebrated unproduced scripts. In 2023, Rosen brokered a major preemptive deal with Sony and Escape Artists to develop his client Chris Grillot’s grounded sci-fi short story BLISS as a feature film. Anthony Rubino (he/him) is a Counsel in Motion Picture Production Legal Affairs at 20th Century Studios, where he provides legal support to 20th's feature length motion picture projects from the earliest stages of development through delivery, including drafting and negotiation of above-the-line, below-the-line and rights-related agreements, and providing legal guidance to production executives and crew on projects in physical production. Prior to joining 20th, Anthony participated as an Associate in Disney's Lawyers in Film Training (D-LIFT) program. He received his JD from Southwestern Law School, and during which he interned with the Business Affairs teams at Paramount TV Studios and 20th TV Studios.

Laura Reich is a narrative, documentary, and commercial producer. Her narrative work includes the independent feature films, KEPT BOY and ALL SORTS, and she is currently in post production on her third, the horror-comedy BEST FRIENDS FOREVER. Her documentary work includes the PBS American Masters film RITA MORENO: JUST A GIRL WHO DECIDED TO GO FOR IT and award-winning short STATUS PENDING. Her projects have screened at Sundance, Raindance, AFI, and the Smithsonian African American Film Festival, among many others. Commercially she’s produced projects for Riot Games, Silent Hill, Twitch, LEGO, Red Bull, Facebook, G2 Esports, USC, and many more. Daniel de Boulay
While studying Screenwriting & Business Administration at Loyola Marymount, Daniel interned for Adam Goodman @ Dichotomy Creative Group, Jon Oakes & Gary Michael Waters @ Bold Films, and Alex Zahn (currently Netflix) during his tenure @ Sony Pictures' Worldwide Acquisitions Group. During the pandemic, in Daniel's first week as an acquisitions buyer, the team acquired Down with the King, starring Freddie Gibbs. Later that year, Sony Pictures acquired Boxing Day, a British Christmas comedy starring Aml Ameen & produced by Matthew Zamias. Both Warner Bros. & Amazon were participants in the transaction. Daniel is a proud Trinidadian American, & lifelong Knicks fan. His favorite philosophers are Bernard Lonergan, a Jesuit theologian who wrote extensively about metacognition, & Kierkegaard, who encourages us to find meaning in life's inevitable melancholy.

Karla Rodriguez
Karla Rodriguez is an entertainment executive specializing in talent relations, fandom growth, and creative development across vertical and traditional formats. She currently leads Talent Relations, Fandom, and PR at GoodShort, a leading vertical streaming app. Previously, Karla helped shape talent and community growth at ReelShort, managing casting partnerships, content creator collaborations, and fandom initiatives to support show performance and expand talent opportunities. Before entering the vertical space, she built her foundation at Sony Pictures Entertainment across Screen Gems and Sony Television. She also collaborated with Vogue and Conde Nast digital production teams. Karla is a Gold Rising alum of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and presented at the 92nd Academy Awards (2020). In 2024, she wrote and developed Jellybean’s Journey, an award-winning animated short currently in development; the script won Best Animated Screenplay at the New York Screenwriting Awards (2024).

Limor Hakim
Limor started her career in New York City in the theatre and worked on 30 Rock, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and other TV and Film projects before moving to Los Angeles. She worked in Limited Series Development at CBS TV Studios before joining Level 1 Entertainment, founded by Bill Todman Jr., producer of such movies as X-Men, Ace Ventura, Grandma’s Boy and more. At Level 1 Entertainment, Limor has developed and sold countless projects such as Ringworld at Amazon, Pledge of Allegiance at USA, and American Fix at Paramount, Voices at NBC, Tower of Lies at NBC and more. Her upcoming projects include: RONIN RAGDOLLS with Robert Rodriguez based on the comic book by Kevin Eastman; ZAMBO DENDE with Sofia Vergara and Doug Miro; RUNAWAY PARENTS with Idina Menzel and Nia Vardalos; THE RIVER with Michelle MacLaren and Matt Bosack and many more.

Rey M. Rodríguez
Rey is a thirty year veteran of The Walt Disney Company. As an attorney, Rey serves the global theatrical distribution arm of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, covering the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia. He is fluent in Spanish, which has played an important role in managing issues and developing relationships in Latin America and Spain. In addition to his professional career, Rey feels an important obligation to give back to his community. He is a 20 plus year board member of Proyecto Pastoral at Dolores Mission, a non-profit organization in East Los Angeles serving the needs of Boyle Heights. Rey has achieved a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Cornell University, a master’s in public affairs from Princeton University and JD from University of California at Berkeley. His book of poetry, “Todos Somos Sagrados/ All Are Sacred,” May 21, 2026.

Amanda T
Originally from Indiana, Amanda moved to LA in 2015 but has been working in the industry since 2010. She worked on reality tv, commercials, music videos, short films, feature films, tv shows, you name it. She had various positions with production (PC, APOC, PM, Producer), SFX Makeup, Art Dept, Covid Compliance, etc. Her career took a few interesting turns ending up in Marketing and Advertising, then 3D Conversion, VFX, Post Production, Creative Operations, Consumer Products and Merchandise and more. She worked with Netflix, Paramount, FX, NBC, and most recently have been hired to work with Disney / Disney + in their streaming services advertising department. Amanda is a graduate of The Academy of Dramatic Arts and also is an activist in mental health care and awareness. She works with nonprofits that focus on working with people behind the scenes struggling with mental health issues and work with the LGBTQ Center and community.

Maya Korn
Maya Korn is a UK/German native producer. Her company MHK Productions (London/ LA/ Cork) uncovers genre stories that highlight political issues; credits include DEATHCEMBER: A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE, Tribeca winner LUCKY GRANDMA, DIABLA, BLUE HOUR (part of the AFI DWW lab and WIF funded), GILLYFISH (BFI Flare) and SOMETHING WILD (POFF Shorts). She’s been diversifying into the commercial space, working with non-binary director Rhi Bergado, creating content for brands with MTV and on Facebook Live’s CARDI TRIES S2. Her feature lab success has come through: LUCKY STRIKES completing Fantasia Frontieres Co Production Lab & Berlinale Talent Project Market; ICON, completing the Cine Qua Non Storylines and Eave Ties That Bind labs; GILLYFISH completing Midpoint Focus Queer and the Galway Fleadh and SHE COMES FOR YOU completing the JETS and Tribeca Creators Market. She is a Columbia University Producing MFA, La Femis, WIF Producing and WEMW graduate and a proud member of WIF, BAFTA and PGA.
