Kimberly Peirce

Kim is one of the preeminent feminists and LGBTQ voices in Hollywood. BOYS DON'T CRY was her first film and led to an Oscar nomination for Chloe Sevigny and a win for Hilary Swank. She followed it up with STOP-LOSS and the 2013 remake of CARRIE. In the television space, Kimberly has directed critically acclaimed dramas and comedies, such as Six for A&E, Halt and Catch Fire for AMC, and I Love Dick for Amazon. Most recently, her second season episode of Dear White People has been one of the buzziest and best reviewed of the season. Currently, she is directing an episode of Pussy Valley for Starz.
