Kia Moses left Jamaica to study Advertising at The School of Visual Arts (SVA), where she graduated with honors and was ranked in the 'top 100 Advertising Students in the US." After years of writing TV ads, she returned home with a passion to pour everything back into the Jamaican creative industry, with a keen focus to foster the community there through cinema. Her first film, FLIGHT, played in the HBO Short Film Competition at the American Black Film Fest in Miami, and won the Audience Award in the diversity section in Cannes.
