Becca Gleason’s coming-of-age feature film, SUMMER ‘03, which she wrote & directed, premiered at SXSW and is currently streaming on Amazon. It stars Joey King, Andrea Savage & Paul Scheer, and Blue Fox distributed theatrically with Tadmor financing and Alexandre Dauman producing. Gleason recently sold her original screenplay, THE NETHERFIELD GIRLS, to Netflix with Temple Hill producing and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan attached to star. Gleason also sold her feature, ALICE IS MISSING, to Paramount Studios based on the popular RPG game which she will write to direct.

In television, Gleason wrapped co-running a 25 week room for the adaptation of a Marvel property, which received a 10 episode straight to series order at Disney+ streaming service which she co-created with Steven Lightfoot. Gleason also sold her original half hour dark comedy idea, WORK IT OUT, to IFC with Michael Showalter producing and Anna Camp attached to star. Her current half hour comedy spec is under option by UTV with Tina Fey/3Arts producing and with Daniel Radcliffe attached to star and her comedy pilot, IN YOUR HEAD, starring Kate Mara is being produced by eOne and Sharon Horgan.

Next, Gleason will direct the Freeform pilot episode of WHAT I WAS DOING WHILE YOU WERE BREEDING, based on Kristin Newman’s memoir.
