Rayka Zehtabchi (MADARAN)

Rayka is an Iranian-American film director based in Los Angeles. Her directorial debut, 'Madaran,' is an Iranian language film that has screened worldwide and qualified for the 89th Academy Awards in September of 2016. Her latest work is 'Period. End of Sentence.,' a short documentary which follows a group of women who start a sanitary pad-making business in a rural village in India. This short has won two Academy qualifying awards. Rayka is currently developing her first feature film based on her experiences growing up as an Iranian girl in America.
