Nicole Castillo (THE LAST PROTESTOR)

Nicole Castillo

Her passion is in telling stories about marginalized populations, following characters suffering mental illness, the elderly, those isolated by grief or social circumstances, and broken family relationships. She won an Emmy award for a medical story she did in partnership with Univision International. Her latest short film "The Last Protestor" won best female filmmaker at IndieFEST 2018, as well as, won best student film at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, and was nominated for best student short at the Milledgeville Film Festival.
