Myrsini was born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus and received her MFA at NYU. Her short film 'Semele' won multiple awards including the Special Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Berlinale Generation Kplus (2016). Her latest short, 'Aria,' premiered at Sundance this year. Her other works include the award winning short film 'Not Now' (2013) and 'Ma' (2014), a short documentary. Myrsini is also the co-founder of S’agapo Children’s Foundation, which aids in the education of children internationally. She is currently developing her first feature film.
