Marty Go is a Filipina-American filmmaker who most recently directed BLACK AS NIGHT for Blumhouse and Amazon as part of the “Welcome to Blumhouse” series. She was nominated for an NAACP Directing Award for the film. Marty’s debut feature film was a coming-of-age action thriller called RISE that was produced by Eric Fleishman. She also directed a segment in the anthology horror PHOBIAS, which Vertical Entertainment picked up. Additionally, her short film REMITTANCE was picked up for distribution by HBO, after the film won the HBO Visionary award, and her feature dance drama film ILLIPINO, which is based off her short, is currently in development with Guy Stodel. Marty started her career as a line producer, where she produced FLOWER and SLEIGHT, among many others.
