Gandja Monteiro

Gandja is currently directing the pilot for the upcoming Showtime unscripted series NOW WHAT WITH AMANDA DE CADENET and is gearing up to direct two episodes of VIDA season 2 for Starz. She previously directed an episode of HBO's documentary series YOUTH. She's a graduate of AFIs Directing Workshop for Women, and was recently accepted into Fox’s Directing Lab for Women. She has directed commercials and branded content for Nike, Adidas, Google, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Chevrolet and Smirnoff, and music videos for rappers like Pusha-T. Her sci-fi narrative short CONTROL OPTION ESCAPE, tells the story of a reclusive internet addict who is forced to cope with the harsh reality beyond her apartment walls when she discovers the internet has shut down worldwide.
