Elaine wrote and directed the award-winning short film 'Good Morning' via the inaugural Warner Bros. Emerging Film Directors Workshop, in which five filmmakers were chosen from over 5,000 applicants worldwide. The film is available on all HBO streaming platforms and screened at dozens of 2018/2019 international film festivals including Sitges, The American Pavilion Emerging Filmmakers Showcase at Cannes, Odense, Rhode Island (winner “New England Director’s Award, Grand Prize”), Edmonton (winner “Jury Citation for Excellence in Writing”), Palm Springs ShortFest, and Etheria Film Night (winner "Audience Award"). DEVASTATION CLASS, Elaine's debut novel written with filmmaker Glen Zipper, will be released by Blink (an imprint of HarperCollins) in 2020. Film rights have been acquired by former Warner Bros. Pictures President Greg Silverman’s Stampede Ventures. Elaine was Associate Producer on the Warner Bros. film MAGIC MIKE XXL and the Amazon Studios series RED OAKS during her nine-year tenure working with Gregory Jacobs and Steven Soderbergh. While on their team, she also worked on films and series that include LOGAN LUCKY, THE KNICK, BEHIND THE CANDELABRA, MAGIC MIKE, CONTAGION, HAYWIRE, and THE INFORMANT.
