Alyssa Lerner (BUBBLE)

Alyssa Lerner is a queer, Asian American writer and director. Since graduating from USC’s MFA in Screenwriting, her work has garnered her a number of accolades including the Best Pilot Screenplay at the LA Comedy Film Festival, finalist placement at the NBCUniversal Short Film Fest, and winner of the Inside Out Film Festival Pitch Competition. Her directorial debut “Bubble” won Best Narrative Short at aGLIFF32 and the audience award for best short at Frameline43 International Film Festival. She is currently a resident in the Black List x Women in Film Feature Residency.
