After receiving a J.D. from UCLA Law School and practicing in both CA and NY, Kristen transitioned careers with studies at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television. Her first short film EAST RAMADI screened at the Cannes Emerging Filmmaker Showcase and was picked up by A Contracorriente for distribution in European theaters alongside LAND OF MINE (2017 Oscar Nominee). Kristen’s pilot KISS AND CRY was a finalist in the BlueCat pilot competition in 2017. She also earned a development deal with Fullscreen for an original series she created, wrote and was attached to direct surrounding the modern world of East LA gangs. Kristen is represented by Artists First. 'The Wind Phone' is FYC for Best Live Action Short!
